About

The Arm Triangle Blog is designed to provide insight for casual and/or new MMA fans into major events, news, and the MMA landscape in general. I am attempting to provide a perspective and focus that is not readily available elsewhere as most sights are geared toward knowledgable MMA fans or provide vastly underwhealming coverage focused only on fighters with big names. Weather you are interested in finding a game underdog to place a bet on or just want to know what story lines one should focus on going into major events, this sight will help you understand and keep up with the fastest growing sport in the world.  I welcome feedback regarding the blog and how well it meets your expectations.  While I started and maintain the blog mostly to practice my non-academic writing, it is my desire that the blog serve a functional purpose readers.  There are a number of things to currently check out on the site and with any luck, more features to materialize in the future.

Current Features

The Arm Triangle Blog Official MMA Rankings - Basic lists can be found at the top of the page however detailed breakdowns of divisions will be featured as traditional blog posts as events in the divisions warrant.

Why To Watch Features - Before major events stop by The Arm Triangle Blog to get a breakdown of the nights fights, fighters, and major shorelines to follow. These articles will help contextualize the event.

The Betting Lies - I am notoriously terrible at picking fighters to bet on, which is why I never bet myself. However, for those who do enjoy betting I will from time to time be flagging some potential upsets or sure fire wins, all which will inevitably fall flat. Bet at your own risk, I accept no responsibility for any money you lose listening to this crap.

Please enjoy the blog and pass it along to anyone who might find it remotely useful.

Best,

Matt
